Many new users also mean much more feedback, and we’ve been doing our best to keep up with all the great ideas and requests for improvements. Some has already been done and is described below, the rest is being brought up and re-prioritized on every sprint planning.

More (intuitive) date ranges in reports

More options in the reports period picker

The period picker in our reports has long been a bit tedious, and some of you have pushed hard to get it changed. We finally listened and added more (and more intuitive) options.

New options include:

  • "Today" (default) which will show you activity from midnight until now.
  • "Yesterday" which will show midnight to midnight yesterday.
  • "This week" will show you activity from Monday 0 am (midnight) to now.
  • "Last week" will show you activity from mast Monday 0 am (midnight) to this Monday 0 am (midnight).
  • "This month"
  • "Last month"
  • "This quarter"
  • "Last quarter"
  • "This year"
  • "Last year"

New scheduling options

More scheduling options and new default (27 hours)

You'll notice that we now default to postpone 27 hours, and there's a limited set of pre-defined options to choose from.

The changes are based on experience and feedback, and it's our attempt to help optimize your workflow, but you can customize this behaviour from your personal preferences at any time.

Please note that the default you select must be ticked (enabled) in the shown options in your preferences.

Several Usability and Security improvements

Many small improvement tend to go "under the radar" of any publicity and are often not noticed. Maybe because they are not directly related to the functionality or because they only have indirect effect on the experience. But some still deserve to be mentioned and here's a few of the things we've been improving the past month or so:

Navigation
Menu names and link placement has been revised to (hopefully) improve navigation and streamline naming of things.
User invitations
Admins now has to invite users who then need to confirm their login and choose a password. For easier adding users and improved security.
Email Confirmation
All users must now confirm their email through a confirmation link sent to their email address when signing up and when changing email address. This is for security reasons.
New default link on work dashboard
The work dashboard link now point to top of queue instead of to the "view all leads"-page. We find it more in line with the workflow that you by default simply start working your queue.
Easier sign up flow
Signing up for Myphoner is now easier than ever, as we'll suggest both account name and subdomain based on your email when signing up, as well as redirecting you and signing you in automatically as part of the sign up process.
Improved documentation
We've improved and added to our documentation. Most significantly is probably the new Glossary of Terms, but we also revised and extended the FAQ, the Getting started guide on dialing and the API documentation.

I'm an entrepreneur and web developer. I've built or helped build a handful of startups.

I strongly believe in dedicated software that solves one task, but solves it really well. During my experience as an internet entrepreneur, I never found that software for cold calling, so that's why I decided to build Myphoner.

I'm very proud of what Myphoner has become, and I'm dedicated to doing everything I can to make it stay a success. That's why I greet all new customers personally and always read and reply to the feedback I get.
